I Read a lot of this author’s books, And when I discovered one I’d missed I grabbed it immediately. This one is as good as the others in the series, and I highly recommend it. The plot is interesting, the characters well developed and It’s definitely an enjoyable read.

Second reading of Crashing into Jake. The band of brothers, known as Stryker Security, while not related by birth or shared parents, are brothers in arms. They have shared blood with and for one another, been to hell and back with each other and would die for one another. So it's not far fetched for them to be able to see when any one of the group is suffering or being an idiot or even a jerk.
As everyday folk, most of us have heard of PTSD. Especially in terms of our Military and Veterans. Sara Blackard has woven a little about PTSD into her heroes as they solve the who done it's of her mysteries. Great stand alone books, even better if read as one wonderful series!
